All payments are made using the Lightning Network, a layer-2 payment protocol on top of the Bitcoin blockchain, to make payments instant and low-cost. Payments are made directly to the filmmaker or musician's Lightning Address, a unique identifier that can be used to receive payments on the Lightning Network.
You will be required to have at least one Lightning Address in order to use this service.
Artists can divide up their payments between multiple Lightning addresses if they want to split them with multiple people involved in production. Earnings can be split for a specific video or across all videos.
